Clinical Psychologist

Carrie D. Gottlieb, Ph.D. / Licensed Clinical Psychologist
Specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT)

I am a licensed clinical psychologist providing therapy to individuals in Mountainside, NJ, and New York. I am also approved by PSYPACT to offer telehealth services to patients residing in participating states across the country.

My goal is to help my patients reduce distress and worry while building the skills necessary to overcome obstacles that may be hindering their personal growth. I collaborate with each patient to develop effective coping strategies, foster a healthier sense of self-esteem, and gain a deeper understanding of the root causes of their behaviors and relational patterns.

Since 2005, I have been working with adults and older adolescents (ages 16 and up). My experience spans a range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, eating disorders, infertility, and perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. I have received both graduate and post-graduate training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Interpersonal Psychotherapy, equipping me with the tools to help clients improve their mental health and overall well-being.

I invite you to learn more about my approach and how I can support you in your journey toward healing. If you have any questions or are interested in scheduling an initial session, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Currently, I offer both in-person and virtual sessions in my New Jersey office, as well as virtual sessions in New York.
